Izuna is a viera from the Skatay Range, just south of Othard. He dislikes following rules unless they are his own; therefore he left his tribe and family on bad terms. Now he wanders the planet as a bard, going and doing whatever he pleases. He is very impulsive and often acts without thinking. Truthfully, he rarely thinks at all. However his heart is always in the right place.

Izuna also has typical viera traits such as sharp incisors, and a round fluffy tail. He also has distinct feet, with four toes and pointed claws.

BIOGRAPHY
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is only here if you are the type of person who enjoys reading this kind of stuff. It is not necessary to know all of this information to roleplay with me, and you are likely to learn about it throughout roleplaying with Izuna as well. This is mostly here for my sake, but if you are interested please enjoy!~
Early Life
Izuna was born and raised in the forests at the base of the Skatay Range. Unlike most viera tribes, the Lunae tribe was a combination of both male and female viera. Before Izuna was born, his mother merged the tribes together so that they could share the limited resources from the mountains instead of fighting over them. Not all of the viera agreed however, and so the tribes split into three separate communities. The female tribe, the male tribe, and the combined tribe led by his mother, Myda, and his father, Rael.Myda and Rael had four daughters before Izuna. The eldest is Kora, the second is Vril, and two twins named Zella and Zara. They were determined to have a son however, and their final attempt resulted in little Izuna. He was born early during a particularly harsh winter. Many members of the tribe did not believe he would survive his first year, however his mother never doubted his strength. Myda told everyone that her son would grow to be the most powerful warrior in the entire tribe. When he survived his first winter, he was given the name “Piers” (pronounced like pierce) which means stone, for his strength and resilience.Because of his mother’s promise that he would be the strongest, Izuna always felt the pressure of high expectations. His mother focused all of her attention on him, and neglected her other children to ensure Izuna would succeed. However, Izuna had no desire to be a hunter, or a leader, he merely wanted to explore and daydream. From a young age he wanted nothing more than to travel away from the forest, and see what the rest of the world had in store.However, his mother did not approve of his dream. The two often argued whenever Izuna suggested leaving. Myda forbade him from leaving the tribe, stating that if he left he could never return. Despite this, Izuna’s wanderlust could not be contained. After a particularly severe argument on his twentieth nameday, Izuna packed up and left his tribe while everyone slept. He left nothing but a lengthy note for his family that explained his reasoning anf at the very end wrote: “I hope one day you will forgive me.”
Arrival in Eorzea
Izuna arrived in Eorzea before the 7th Umbral Calamity. He joined the archer’s guild in Gridania since archery and hunting was all he knew. There he met the archer Silvairre who was incredibly prejudice towards him due to his viera heritage. That did not stop Izuna however from seducing the elezen and sleeping with him. It was however not a good night, and Silvairre did not take very long at all to finish. So nothing ever came of their little fling, and Silvairre was far too ashamed to ever admit what they had done to anyone. The tension between the two was felt throughout the guild long after.However, Izuna had no intention of staying much longer. The Gods Quiver Bow was far too strict for his tastes. He wanted adventure, but had no desire to be held down by anything. When he heard that the legendary archer-turned-bard Jehantel the Godsbow had returned to the Black Shroud he sought him out. Jehantel was eager to teach Izuna poetry, and verse.He spent months camping in the Black Shroud with Jehantel, and learned the history of bards, and how to be one. While he was training he met another bard named Guydelot. The two became fast friends with their shared interests. Although they did spend a night together, they both agreed they were too free spirited to form any meaningful bond with one another. When his training was complete, Izuna eagerly left the Black Shroud to travel the rest of Eorzea as a wandering minstrel.In La Noscea he came across a group of men struggling with a rowdy chocobo. The bird was covered in filth, and managed to bite the fingers off of a roegadyn man. Having been raised in the forest, Izuna had a particular soft spot for all living creatures. So, he intervened and questioned the men. When he learned the chocobo was going to be killed for being too difficult to control, he offered to purchase the bird. Despite how dangerous the chocobo was, the wranglers took Izuna’s gil and handed the bird over to him. He had no prior experience with chocobos, but the bird seemingly understood that Izuna had saved him. So the chocobo, now named “Kwehkins” joined the viera on his journey.Upon arriving in Ul’Dah Izuna spent time performing in the Quicksand. His songs were popular among the patrons. He befriended almost everyone he met. He would also occasionally join adventurers in need, but never officially joined the adventurer’s guild. Notably during his time in the city he slept with a wealthy merchant’s wife, and narrowly escaped to avoid being beaten into a pulp.As he was wandering back and forth between the city states the 7th Calamity unfolded. He watched as Dalamud fell from the sky, and Bahamut burst from the red moon and laid waste to the land. His loyal chocobo managed to keep him safe from the meteors that rained from the sky. (Although the Kwehkins may have been protecting himself and Izuna just managed to hang on. We may never know.)When the ash finally settled, Izuna returned to Gridania to assist in any way he could. He worked to keep morale high, and sang songs to raise the spirits of those affected by the calamity. Izuna also learned a little bit of healing magic to heal the injured in the aftermath.
Post-Calamity
It was by helping those after the calamity that Izuna realized his true passion. He loved adventure, but he also loved helping those in need. So he combined the two and set off once again to discover new places and new faces. It was during this time he encountered a lonely and rather rude elezen man by the name of Leodaire Coultenet. Although the elezen was not fond of the viera, Izuna did not easily give up befriending him. They traveled together for a time and Leodaire soon grew fond of Izuna and could at least admire his persistence. Leodaire continues to be a close friend that Izuna knows he can call upon if he needs.Izuna did accompany Guydelot and the other bards to Garlemald to assist the refugees of the Garlean civil war. When tensions were settled he returned to Eorzea. He is still occasionally called upon to offer his skills for the Grand Companies.He still has not had any contact with his family, and lately has been feeling rather homesick. When he misses home he spends time outdoors or in his treehouse.Currently he still wanders, and he says he goes only wherever he pleases, but truthfully he travels wherever he is needed, and wherever he can help others. During his travels he encountered a handsome and somewhat shy elezen man by the name of Xylinn Kaldris. What began as a simple one night stand quickly blossomed into a full blown relationship. The couple may have their struggles, but their love for each other is strong.
